This exhibition, part of the Open Barri project organized by the Associació 48h Open House Barcelona, explores the intricate relationship between city streets, buildings, and the lives of their inhabitants. It presents a complementary perspective on the urban peripheries, focusing on emotional and social aspects that define three specific areas distinguished by their non-centrality, geographical features, and more recent development. The exhibition is open and participatory, allowing visitors to blur physical borders by contributing new stories both in-person and through social media. It invites attendees to celebrate the richness of daily life, recognizing it as the hidden thread that connects the past, present, and future of neighborhoods. A guided tour by the exhibition curator will take place on February 17 at 5:45 PM, providing insights into the life and everyday experience of Nou Barris as part of the winter edition of Open Barri.
