The Dinner of the Senses is a cultural experience at the Royal Academy of Medicine of Catalonia that brings the history of medicine in Barcelona closer and introduces the basics of sensory neuroscience through a gastronomic game involving all the senses. The menu illustrates how the brain constructs reality from sensory information, creating perceptions that sometimes differ from what seems to be experienced.
