Dialogues with Music: Pau Casals and Juli Garreta

Join us for "Dialogues with Music: Pau Casals and Juli Garreta", an event celebrating artistic admiration and collaboration, organized by the Pau Casals Foundation as part of the Juli Garreta Year, marking the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth. Supported by the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB), this event focuses on the musical and human connection between Pau Casals and Juli Garreta—two essential figures of 20th-century Catalan culture. The discussion will feature contributions from Anna Costal i Fornells, a musicology PhD and professor at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, Joaquim Rabaseda i Matas, a music expert and commissioner of the Juli Garreta Year, and musicologist Oriol Pérez i Treviño, who will lead the dialogue. Additionally, there will be musical performances by the Mª Lourdes and Lluís Pérez Molina duo (piano). Reservations are required for this free event.
