'Hipersueño' addresses the relationship between dance and the unknown. It is a tactile performance in which dancers Arantxa Martínez and Paz Rojo transmit sounds of birds, the sounds they hear at that moment, a landscape, the weight of their legs on the surface, atoms, an earthquake, etc. 'Transmit' as a fully communicative exercise does not consist of reaffirming what they know, but rather relating to the unknown. A constant state of transition that fosters a dance generated from responsibilities and response skills. Meanwhile, sound artist and performer Luz Prado proposes a live listening relationship. In 'Hipersueño', sound and movement intertwine and produce an alternative texture when different times, spatialities, devices, and intuitions are touched. Paz Rojo is an artist, dancer, and researcher. She holds a PhD in Performative Practices with a specialization in choreography from the University of the Arts in Stockholm (Sweden). In 2021, she initiated the artistic research framework 'Dying Well', in which she carries out curatorial, mediation, artistic direction, and creation activities, such as the solo 'What Dances', the rehearsal of scenic practice, and the seminar 'It Has Been Yet, Not Yet', within the cycle 'Notes for a Time Apart' at the Reina Sofía Museum and the scenic creation 'Hipersueño'. She is the author of the book 'Dancing in the Era of No-Future', published by La Uña Rota (2025). Schedule: Friday at 20:30. General entry: €18.
