The Cuban Jazz Syndicate is an exhilarating band bursting with Caribbean rhythm and talent, primarily composed of musicians from Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Led by the renowned Michael Olivera, the band features some of the most prominent talents in contemporary Cuban jazz, including trumpet player Carlos Sarduy and pianist Humberto Ríos. The ensemble shines thanks to the remarkable Alejandra López, a double bassist and vocalist who adds an unmatched magic to the Syndicate's sound with her voice and stage presence. Together, they create a vibrant spectacle filled with rhythm, improvisation, joy, and Caribbean energy, transporting the audience directly to the colorful streets and sounds of the Caribbean. Following the success of their show "Y llegó la luz," showcased at some of Europe’s most prestigious festivals, the group is preparing to release their second album in 2026 and present a new, fresh, passionate, and flavorful show.
