Samara Joy presents a jazz performance at the Palau de la Música Catalana. Joy debuted at our festival in 2022 and won the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2019. She currently leads a septet and is noted for her youthful and powerful voice, drawing inspiration from legends like Vaughan, Betty Carter, Abbey Lincoln, and Carmen McRae. Four years later, she returns to the Palau with her septet and six Grammy awards, featuring interpretations with her own arrangements and compositions from other jazz greats.
