Concert of Sacred Music: Bach's Works
Experience the enchanting world of 18th-century sacred music in the concert 'Bach - Narcis Casanovas,' showcasing pieces that embody two splendid styles. The performance includes the motet 'Jesu Meine Freude' by J.S. Bach, originally composed for the funeral of a prominent Leipzig statesman's wife in 1723, and a selection from the 18 Responsories for the Easter Triduum. The concert will be presented by the chamber choir Dyapason, under the direction of Teodor Roura. This concert serves as not only an artistic performance but also as a moment to reflect on the deep emotional connections conveyed through Bach's music.
