The Ciutat de Clàssica Festival is a collaborative project involving the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Palau de la Música Catalana, L'Auditori, and various iconic venues across Barcelona. This seventh edition features a vibrant program of both paid and free concerts showcasing world-renowned artists alongside emerging local talent. Among the highlights is a performance by clarinetist David Carmona at the Biblioteca Horta-Can Mariner. The concert will include a repertoire of works by notable composers, such as Béla Kovács' 'Hommage to J. S. Bach', Johann Sebastian Bach's 'Sonata No. 1, BWV 1001 (IV. Presto)', and pieces by Willson Osborne, Astor Piazzolla, Claude Debussy, Heinrich Sutermeister, Eduard Toldrà, Paul Harvey among others. This event is a celebration of classical music in a unique setting.
