Agosto is a pop band formed by María and Nacho, hailing from Alicante and León. Their music has a nostalgic summer vibe, characterized by melodious guitar riffs and delicate lyrics that evoke feelings of melancholy and warmth. Their journey began four years ago with their singles 'Jeanne Dielman' and 'Azul Azul,' both of which are already considered modern classics. While performing live, the duo expands their setup to include additional musicians, although they started composing music together in their shared apartment in Madrid. They have cultivated a unique sound that can be both dark and bright, resonating with fans of similar artists like Alvvays and Beach House. Their debut album 'Un Narciso Atropellado' has already been released, and they are currently working on their second album, slated for release in late 2025, from which singles like 'Cielo' and 'Otra vez pensando en todo esto' have been previewed.
