Exhibition: "The Cathedral Facade 1408-1913"

A permanent exhibition at the Cathedral of Barcelona and the Diocesan Museum of Barcelona that explores the project of the neo-Gothic facade and its iconography, focusing on Agapit Vallmitjana i Barbany (1832-1905). The exhibition invites visitors to discover the most emblematic architectural space and iconographic program of the city, highlighting human aspects and personal stories within the historical context of the Cathedral. Organized by the Cathedral of Barcelona and the Diocesan Museum of Barcelona, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona, inaugurated as part of the activities of the Vallmitjana Year (2019).
