'From Zona Franca to Marina: 100 Years of Social Housing in Barcelona 1925-2025' explores the evolution of social housing in the Marina neighborhood, formerly known as Zona Franca. Through photographs and plans, many of which are unpublished, the book also reflects Barcelona's architectural and social development over the past century. The presentation will take place at the Pepita Casanellas Hall, featuring opening remarks from Raquel Gil Eiroa, the district councilor for Sants-Montjuïc. Following the introduction, a round table discussion will be held with five architects: Emeritus Professor Ignacio Paricio Asuategui, Doctor Eva Jiménez, and the book's authors - Sandra Bestraten Castells, Emili Hormias Laperal, and Jaime Pérez Gutierrez, all architecture professors at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and residents of Marina.
