The Bicycle Festival is a vibrant community event aimed at promoting a healthier and more sustainable urban lifestyle by highlighting cycling as an efficient and eco-friendly mode of transport. This popular pedal-powered journey spans approximately 12 kilometers through the neighborhoods of L’Eixample, Ciutat Vella, and Sant Martí. Participants will be engaged in a variety of activities including a leisurely bike ride and a lively fair at Passeig de Lluis Companys featuring workshops, interactive circuits, games, and an introduction to various bicycle types, including cargo bikes. This year's edition coincides with the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Barcelona, making it extra special with unique attractions such as a Tour de France exhibition, various climate change initiatives, and a second-hand bicycle exchange, inviting all cycling enthusiasts and families to celebrate and embrace the bicycle culture in the city.
