The Bicycle Festival is a vibrant and community-oriented event aimed at promoting a healthier, safer, and more accessible urban lifestyle through cycling. The festival features a fun-filled popular bike ride covering approximately 12 kilometers through the iconic districts of Eixample, Ciutat Vella, and Sant Martí. In addition to the ride, there will be a festival area on Passeig de Lluís Companys, where various workshops, games, interactive circuits, and bike demonstrations, such as cargo bikes and Bicing, will take place. This year's festival includes special activities celebrating the Grand Départ of the Tour de France in Barcelona, showcasing exhibitions, guest appearances from SOM TOUR, and dialogues on climate-friendly mobility led by youth climate activists. Participants will also have opportunities to exchange second-hand bicycles, making this not just an event for cyclists, but a community celebration for all.
