The Sarrià-Sant Gervasi Amateur Theatre Showcase is an initiative designed to promote local theatre by collaborating with various amateur theatre groups from the neighborhoods. Hosted at the Cívic Vil·la Urània, this showcase features four distinct plays, all accessible for free with prior registration. Each performance aims to engage the community and celebrate local storytelling through the medium of theatre. The lineup includes plays like 'What Happened to Antoni?' which explores a mysterious death in a high mountain village, 'The Room is Full', telling the tale of a young doctor facing an unexpected crowd, 'Starlit Hotel', where a hotel reception becomes a stage for diverse characters, and lastly, 'Good People... But Not So Much', a modern adaptation of a classic play. This initiative not only entertains but also unites the community through shared cultural experiences.
