57th International Jazz Festival of Barcelona: Concert 'La Vella Dixieland with Namina'

For the first time in the history of our festival, the Artist Portrait focuses not on an individual figure but on a group. This 2025, it’s La Vella Dixieland, founded in 1980, celebrating 45 years of life. Inspired by Duke Ellington, who said a conductor is like a chef mixing ingredients in the right proportions to enhance the final dish, La Vella will celebrate these 45 years by inviting more musicians to shape a journey through four concerts that reflect both the history and present of jazz in Catalonia. The third and final stop at Jamboree features vocalist Namina.
