Janis Siegel, founder of Manhattan Transfer, and longtime musical director Yaron Gershovsky present an enticing duo performance, The Colors of My Life, focused on one of the gems of the American songbook: Cy Coleman. Coleman composed timeless pieces such as The Best Is Yet to Come, Witchcraft, and Playboy's Theme. Both Gershovsky and Siegel have had a close relationship with the composer: he was the vocal arranger for City Of Angels, and she was chosen to sing at the Kennedy Center in a tribute to Coleman and his collaboration with lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman. A subtle and exquisite night of vocal excellence awaits between Broadway and jazz.
