57th International Jazz Festival of Barcelona: Concert 'Canta a Manuel Alejandro' with Jose Merce

José Merce returns to our Flamenco series De Cajón! with a performance stemming from his deep admiration for Manuel Alejandro, one of the most illustrious songwriters from Jerez, known for some of the most emblematic songs in Spanish popular music. Who has not sung 'Se nos rompió el amor'? José Merce brings those melodies to life with flamenco flair, accompanied by his usual ensemble of two flamenco guitarists, three percussionists, and a piano and double bass that add new sounds to classic interpretations. An emotional night awaits at the Palau de la Música Catalana, with the important note that minors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
