2025 Science Week: Science Talks 'Movement and Cellular Forces: A Mathematical Perspective'

Led by Quim Frigola, this talk will explore how cells reproduce and move to form organs, limbs, and other body structures as an organism grows. This movement is produced by forces within the tissue that are often difficult to explain. By studying the physical principles governing growth, we can understand this movement and use mathematical models to predict how potential changes will affect development.
